Battery Charger for fully automatic 3-stage charging
The charger is suitable for classic lead-acid 6V and 12V batteries (lead-acid, AGM, Gel, maintenance-free CA/CA).
Usage:
Manually select the required charge voltage (6V or 12V) and the microprocessor-controlled charger will automatically execute the entire battery charging process until the end of the charge cycle and maintain charge.
A LED indicator informs you about the progress of the charging process, if the charging is complete or if the connection was made incorrectly. Modern safety technology with protection against reverse polarity, overheating protection, overcharge protection, and short circuit protection ensures your safety.
Caution
Carefully check the charger cables before use. Ensure that no cracks have occurred on the cable or anti-fold protection. A charger with a damaged cable should not be used. A damaged cable must be replaced by a qualified professional.
Never charge a damaged battery.
Never charge a frozen battery.
A charging battery can emit explosive gas. Avoid sparks near the battery. When a battery reaches the end of its life cycle, sparks can occur.
Battery acid is corrosive. Rinse immediately with water if the acid comes into contact with skin or eyes and immediately consult a doctor.
Store and use the battery charger out of reach of children and make sure that children cannot play with the charger.
Connecting and disconnecting the charger to the battery
Warning: Please connect or disconnect the charger to the battery according to the instructions below.
Charging a separate lead-acid battery
Connect the red clip or cable to the Positive pole of the battery ("+").
Connect the clip or cable to the Negative pole of the battery ("-").
Insert the AC plug into the wall socket
For disconnection, first unplug the AC plug from the wall socket, then disconnect the clips or cables from the battery poles.
Charging a lead-acid battery mounted on a vehicle
Connect the red clip to the positive pole of the battery, the black clip to the vehicle frame and move away from the fuel pipe and battery.
Insert the AC plug into the wall socket.
Before disconnection, first remove the main plug from the wall socket.
Then disconnect the black clip before the red clip.
Connection protection
This function will prevent the battery and charger from being damaged in case of incorrect connection.
